never said to shut up my friend nor would I. however that being said the updates are what they are and it is not "feedback" to whine that you did not get your 50k exp. go to FoW in 1 hour you will have 50k exp.

try to find a solution instad of complaining htat someone else got more than you did.

Glad I haven't Ascended yet. Hehe.

For those who Ascended right before, it may not seem fair, but for many who Ascended and got multiple levels out of it, I don't see why they are complaining, because you essentially got that 50K XP through the levels you gained.

I think the new way is good, it prevents some people from rushing their characters just to Ascend, and in that way they would be more helpful to parties later in the game, because you would spend the time to level up.

My posts were exactly that: asking Anet about the status of the retroactive Ascension bonus and seeing if there was anything that could be done about it. A solution. Shocking, I know. The point of this thread is so that Anet sees that some people are upset about the sudden switch. That is finding a solution: not posting about it like you seem to want to is not.

Your taking all this as complaining is the problem, not us bringing up the issue.

In SWG (curse its name!) the devs would post a "What's on the plate for tomorrow" string in the forums, thusly warning all of impending changes. That and we had public test center servers to give us incoming game change info well ahead of deployment (usually 2 weeks or more). It made people upset when they saw some of the changes in the pipeline, but sometimes they would gripe enough and effect change. One nice thing about having "Official" forums, and the test bed.

It might be too late now, but when the patch just came out, they could have made it that all the level 20's who ascended can go back and ascend again for the 50k exp. Sure, it'll benefit some more than others, but the majority of the playeres probably did ascend at 20, so it'd be nice to get that 50k even if somebody else got 17 levels + 50k

Can someone tell me if you get ascended from say level 17 to 20 AND get 50k exp, or you just get 50k exp and stay level 17?

My guess is you would still go up to 20, but can someone confirm please?

I'm assuming you get 50k experience and as many levels as that amount would give you if you had earned that much under normal circumstances.

i think the way it works is: if u are level 20, you get 50K XP. but if u are not level 20, you just go up to level 20...but im not sure on this eather.

and i think the best solution to the 50K XP thing, is to give a option for people to ascend again...just kill the mirror self and get the 50K XP. and even if they dont want to do that, maybe just give 20K XP? but i understand that there is no fair way for this to be resulved...
